Your Body's Natural Ability to Heal Itself and to Perform Optimally
When our body is out of balance, it provides us with signs, such as fatigue, gastrointestinal distress, anxiety, autoimmune disease, and hormonal dysregulation.
These signals are important, as they can help guide us to determine the underlying root cause behind the symptoms experienced.
At True Potential Nutrition, our focus is helping clients repair and restore balance within their bodies by first seeking to understand why symptoms are occurring and then developing personalized nutrition and lifestyle intervention to correct these imbalances. Our ultimate goal is to help clients lead their most fulfilling, abundant, and healthy lives.

Getting Started: In order to best serve you, you will begin the process with an initial intake session (see below for more details on the intake process). This will allow Danielle to begin to get to know you, your history, and your needs.
Determining Length of Intervention: From there, you and Danielle will begin to map out your intervention trajectory. Your needs will determine the length of intervention. Danielle recognizes that the pathway to health is a highly individualized and iterative process. For this reason, the number of sessions that Danielle recommends to each one of her clients vary. However, to experience lasting symptom relief and allow time for sustainable and meaningful lifestyle changes to take hold, it typically takes 3-6 months of collaborative 1:1 work.
Developing Goals and Interventions: Some clients are just looking for a slight tune-up, while others are seeking a major diet and lifestyle overhaul. Others need more health condition-specific nutritional interventions. Regardless of where you are in your health journey, Danielle will meet you where you are and work to guide you to better health.
Establishing a Partnership: Through a collaborative approach, Danielle will work closely with you to develop an individualized plan that not only fits into your lifestyle, but helps you achieve your desired goals.
What To Expect During Your Initial Intake and Follow-Up Sessions
Initial Intake & Onboarding
Every person has distinct bio-individual needs based on their genetics, health history, nutritional intake, and lifestyle. Danielle recognizes that each one of these factors needs to be considered before developing a wellness plan. During a 90-minute initial intake session, Danielle spends time getting to know you better. She will gather information about your history, your current state of health, your diet, and your desired outcomes amongst other things. At the end of the session, you will walk away with actionable steps that will help you get closer to your wellness goals.
The Wellness Plan
This phase of the plan is critical. Did you know that the medications you are taking may be depleting essential nutrients? Or that a seemingly benign digestion discomfort could be a sign of an imbalance?
For these reasons, Danielle uses a functional medicine approach to review the body holistically. She carefully reviews and analyzes current labs, medical history, symptoms, diet, and lifestyle to assess for nutrient deficiencies and systemic imbalances. From her assessment and analysis, Danielle will develop a wellness plan to present to you during the follow-up session.
Danielle, as part of her functional approach to nutrition, reconizes the significance of subtle health cues and symptoms that other health care providers may have overlooked. She realizes that many of her clients have gone long periods of time with unanswerered questions about their symptoms. As such, she will spend several hours behind the scenes evaluating and analyzing your past and current health state in order to prepare a wellness plan that will help restore your health.
Follow-Up Sessions
Follow-up visits are an important part of the nutrition and lifestyle intervention process, as it allows time to discuss obstacles encountered, goals accomplished, future objectives, which will lead to the evolution of the wellness plan.
During the initial follow-up session, you and Danielle will discuss an individualized functional nutrition protocol. From there, you and Danielle will work together to select action items from the plan that you will be able to put into place after the session.
After the initial follow-up visit, you and Danielle will create a schedule for additional follow-up visits. Whether it be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, scheduling these visits will be catered to your needs.
